  1. It's always so fun to see what they find interesting :). I've been wanting to get a digital camera for my daughter. She's three and a half. Any suggestions?

  2. I love the teddy bear one, and the spools, she already has an eye for composition. They're great!

  3. Cute! Were your kitchen cabinets always white? I could have sworn they were natural wood the last time I was there. That was like 5 years ago though, so my memory might be off...

  4. Great pictures!

I can remember having a camera when I was a little girl myself - thinking about it it must be somewhere... - and taking a lot of photos (they came close to the Barbie-Ken-wedding picture). Of course in "those" days you had to go to a shop and develop all pictures BEFORE you could see the result : ) which was sometimes a surprise to me and waste of money to my Mom ; )

So a big thanks to somebody for the invetion of digital cameras, so one can see the result and only develop the good ones.
Haven't sewed a Baby Bunky Bunny yet but will let you know once I've done...

  5. Katie, they do make kid-friendly cameras, and we checked that out. We were dissappointed. Huge plastic housing and a tiny, TINY low resolution screen, you could barely tell what picture you'd taken. Since the view screen and instant gratification was the main draw for our young photographer (then 5), we decided to find a regular used, low-priced digital camera with a large view screen on ebay for her, so it wouldn't be a big loss if she dropped it on the concrete. So far so good. I've even grabbed it to use when our own camera had a low battery.

  6. Nö, yes, amen to that -- I'd love to kiss the person responsible for digital cameras! I'd love to see your future BBB!

  7. Olivia, you have a good memory. We refaced the cabinets ourselves. The builder did such a terrible job with the original ones, and these are so much better.

  10. Mom of 5, well, how do you know that isn't very healthy herbal tea in that cup? Ahem.
Actually, it IS coffee, but technically I can still have a cup in the morning without suffering too many adverse effects.
And just for the sake of accuracy, this picture was taken by my daughter a while back before A) my hair was chopped off and B) before my stomach was invaded by aliens. We don't download her pics very often.

  11. Punkmom, that car is Daddy's car, and the girls adore it. It is an ancient Honda Civic 5-speed coupe and they fight over getting to ride in it. I also like to drive it when I can, I love a manual transmission. Makes a nice change from the ubiquitous mini-van.
