It's a big rush for a teacher when a student starts to write of their own accord and not because they have to practice. And especially when the teacher loves the sweet little stinker student to death. (heart clenching) Yep, passing notes is definitely allowed here at the Holland Academy for Young Ladies.

what a lovely post! aren't boys the best? you're a very lucky mom!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! What a great lift for you. mom! Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeletecArLa, thanks! Yes, boys are lovely, but I have no first-hand experience with them...my two are definitely girly girl girls. :-)

Aww... I remember receiving special gifts like that when Jess was little. I still have some of those treasures. They really warm your heart, don't they?
ReplyDeleteOh that's just precious. <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing this is! I enjoy huge hugs from our little man these days, this is more than words can say at this age (2,5) and the tall girl (just turned 4) was hugging one of my legs and said "You smell like Mom and I love how you smell!"...
ReplyDeleteLooking foreward to the little notes and what will come when my little ones are getting older like your sweetiepies!

Cute! I love notes like that. I taught my 7 year old son some of the common note folds...and he wrote me a note that said - "Dear mom, I would love to watch a movie with you and eat popcorn. Love..." :) How could I resist that.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet!! They sure don't realize what those notes do to a mom's heart. :) Enjoy your day!
